Aisling Bea
Aisling B a, born 16 March, 1984 in Kildare Ireland. She was seen on QI along with Stephen Fry. Aisling Cliodhnadh (born 16 March, 1984) is a comedian and actress from Ireland. Bea's professional career started in 2011, as a stand-up comedian, after she appeared in small roles for Irish and British TV shows that began in the year 2009. In 2012, she began to regularly appear on sketch and sitcoms. In 2012, she began appearing on panel shows after winning an award for The Edinburgh Comedy Awards. She was a member of the 8 Out of 10 Cats team from 2016 to 2017 and was a regular contestant in its spinoff 8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown. Her parents were Brian and Helen O'Sullivan and has a sister named Sinead. She was the only female to be a winner of the show So You Think You're Funny in the year 2012. Bea is her name in honour of her deceased father. Aisling Claiodhnadh Sullivan was born on the 16th of March, 1984 in Kildare, County Kildare. Bea's father Brian who was an equine vet who was killed when Bea reached the age of three, was the victim of self-harm. Bea was informed of his death only at thirteen years of age. The stage name Bea is a tribute to her father. Bea published an opinion piece in The Guardian, published in 2017 about her experiences dealing with suicide. Bea's mom Helen was also an instructor for jockeys and a former professional jockey was responsible for raising her as well as Sinead. Their family was fascinated by racing and horses. Bea had a job as a Tour Guide for the Irish National Stud. From an early age, Bea knew that she didn't want racing as a career. Instead, she was drawn to the performing arts.
