Maggie Grace (born Margaret Grace Denig on 21 September 1983) is an American actress best known for her roles in the roles of Shannon Rutherford on the ABC television series Lost and Kim Mills in the Taken trilogy. Originally from Worthington Ohio, she quit high school to move into Los Angeles with her mother when her parents separated. She landed her debut role, as Rachel's Room's lead character in 2001, despite having a difficult time in the financial department. In 2002 she was nominated to receive an Young Artist Award with her part as the 15-year-old murder victim Martha Moxley. Grace was Shannon Rutherford on the Lost television show in 2004. The show featured her as the principal protagonist for two seasons and won a Screen Actors Guild Award. Grace, who had worked together with Tom Welling on The Fog in the year 2005, wanted to move to film. Grace has been on Suburban Girl The Jane Austen Book Club both in 2007 and Taken with Liam Neeson in 2008 as Kim Mills. The role was reprised in Taken 2 (2012) and Taken 3 (2014).She played the lead role Alice in Malice in Wonderland a modern take on Lewis Carroll's novel Alice's Adventures in Wonderland. Grace played Shannon once more in the show's finale and in two additional episodes. In 2013, she appears in Californianation, the 6th Season. She plays Faith, a groupie who acts as a muse to the stars and catches the attention to Hank Moody (David Duchovny).
